The food industry is faced with ever evolving demands and challenges, from government agencies, third party audits, buyers and consumers. FFS believes the key to overcoming and navigating the challenges is the commitment and training of all facility staff. We are committed to providing effective training, by ensuring that it is relevant and practical to the audience. Targeted training is delivered by qualified trainers with extensive industry and government experience in many facets of the food processing sector.

In addition, FFS is Canada’s 1st Approved Training Establishment (ATP Registrar 232) with the British Retail Consortium (BRC). The BRC Global Food Safety Standard is one of the Standards recognized and accepted under the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) benchmark scheme.

As Canada’s only Approved Training Provider for the BRC, we are able to deliver the required training courses to assist producers and manufacturers with the requirements of the BRC Global Standard.   We are also qualified to train personnel or public interested in BRC Internal Auditor training and or BRC Third Party Auditor training.


Both in class and specially designed on-site courses are offered.

In order to stay ahead of the changes in the industry and assist clients in staying competitive, we have opened our new Training Center in Guelph and are offering a host of courses that include regulatory compliance and GFSI global standards. A sample of which include:
